Summer Reading Program 2011

Theme: SPLASH!

               "I'm bored."
Have you ever heard that--or said it yourself--during hot lazy days in July and August?
Well, there's always us and our reading program you can consider! This summer we're having a free reading contest for children. Kids 12-years-old and under get a prize everytime they read a certain amount of books. Registration is as simple as writing down the contestant's name, age, and phone number. A library card is not needed, though it is nessisary if you plan to take books out. If contestants read the required amount of books before August 12, they will get a free pass to the swim day on August 12th at the Thorhild Public Swimming Pool.

We'll also be hosting a few summer activities including:

•  A visit from Story Teller Kathy Jessup
• A craft day
• A movie showing
